PURPOSE, ROLE AND METHODS OF OPERATION

As provided and limited by law, the Board has general charge, direction, and management of the schools of the district. This includes the control and care of all property belonging to the district, and the power to levy taxes, borrow money, employ personnel, carry insurance, purchase materials, books and equipment; purchase real property and erect buildings for the operation of such schools.
