                                                                          REMUNERATION AND REIMBURSEMENT

Board members may receive a salary per meeting actually attended. This salary will be set by the Board each year at the annual meeting in July.

Travel allowance for school board members shall be in addition to their salary. Mileage will never be figured at a greater distance than the shortest regularly traveled, passable route between the member’s home and the place of the meeting. Rate per mile, per diem and travel allowance will be paid in accordance with rates established by the State of South Dakota.
