The Resource Room at West Elementary provides services to students who have been identified though South Dakota criteria as in need of Special Education assistance. Educational, social and emotional assistance is provided within the least restrictive environment. Special Education teachers and classroom teachers work as a team planning and implementing specific strategies to help students improve skills. It is our intent that this interaction will close the gap between the student's potential and their achievement.
